After Palm, Sony Ericsson is now coming up with a Windows Mobile device. This new Sony Ericsson Windows Mobile device has been named XPERIA X1.
The device runs on Windows Mobile 6 Professional and comes with a full QWERTY keyboard (No! no more rocker keys).
A quick feature overview:
Windows Mobile 6 Professional
800 x 480 pixels, 3 inches, 65K colors TFT touchscreen
Full QWERTY keyboard
Optical joystick navigation (those we seen over Nokia N82 ads?)
XPERIAâ„¢ panel interface (like HTC TouchFLO?)
400 MB internal memory
3.15 MP, 2048×1536 pixels, autofocus camera
GPRS/EDGE/3G/WiFi/
Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP
Built-in GPS receiver
I wish the cam was 5MP at least. Other than that, things sounds cool.
And best of all, since we have Sony Ericsson dealers in Bangladesh, we can expect this device to reach Bangladesh market soon. (Windows Mobile devices are hardly available in market here.)
But one thing! First Palm started to make Windows Mobile devices, now the Symbian UIQ guys Sony Ericssion is also focusing on Windows Mobile too. So does that say Windows Mobile is better than Symbian? Will there be a Windows mobile announcement from Nokia too? Lets see!
Oh! the links…
