If you see the error “Invalid maildirsize file” when trying to update your email account password, or change the quota, or if you are just having issues with logging in you should try this:
1. Log into cPanel, go to File Manager.
2. Navigate to the following path /mail/yourdomain.com/user
Substitute yourdomain.com/username with the correct email domain/user.
Example: For account [email protected] go to /mail/company.com/sales
3. From this directory, delete the file named maildirsize
Once this file is deleted, the system should reform the mail account automatically with the correct mailbox quota size upon new email activity.
